Filabot systems are designed with global compatibility in mind. Many of our products support both 110VAC and 220VAC input voltages at 50Hz or 60Hz, covering power standards across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
However, not all Filabot products auto-adjust. Some systems require you to specify your voltage at the time of purchase. Read below for a full explanation.
Voltage & Frequency Compatibility Summary
Product Line | Voltage Options | Frequency | Auto-Switching? |
---|---|---|---|

🔌 Important: Products that do not auto-switch require internal wiring or heater configuration based on your power standard. Connecting these to the wrong voltage can damage the system and void the warranty.
How to Know Your Voltage and Frequency
You can check your regional specs by:
-
Looking at your plug type:
-
Type A/B (flat pins) → 110V 60Hz
-
Type C/E/F/G (round pins) → 220V 50Hz
-
-
Checking your power outlet or panel label
-
Searching online: e.g., “What voltage is used in [your country]?”
-
Asking your facilities manager or electrician
Shipping & Configuration Notes
-
USA & Canada orders ship with 110VAC 60Hz configuration by default.
-
International orders ship configured for 220VAC 50Hz, unless otherwise requested.
-
Auto-switching products will adjust automatically between 110–240VAC and 50/60Hz.
-
For non-auto products, Filabot configures the internal components (like heaters or power supplies) at the factory before shipping.
What Happens If You Use the Wrong Voltage?
If your product is not auto-switching and you plug it into the wrong voltage:
-
Heaters may fail or burn out immediately
-
Internal electronics could be damaged
-
The system could become unsafe or inoperable
-
Your warranty will be void
Always confirm the configuration before powering on your system.
