Filabot Announces Discontinuation of the EX2 Extruder
Barre, VT — Filabot would like to formally notify our customers and partners that the Filabot Original EX2 Extruder has been officially discontinued and is no longer in production.
This decision reflects Filabot’s continued focus on advancing extrusion technology and delivering next-generation solutions that better meet the evolving needs of our customers. While the EX2 is no longer being manufactured, Filabot remains fully committed to supporting all EX2 units currently in the field.
Ongoing Support Commitment
Filabot will continue to provide:

Next-Generation Replacement
Filabot is actively developing a next-generation extruder designed to build upon the proven performance of the EX2 while introducing significant advancements in capability, efficiency, and usability. The new extruder is expected to be released in October 2026, and additional details will be shared as development milestones are reached.
